This slide is made of lightweight magnesium and significantly lighter than comparable slides made of other materials (magnesium is about 33% lighter than glass, 75% lighter than steel and 80% lighter than brass). Despite of its low weight the MagSlide produces a warm tone, great sustain and minimal string noise on acoustic or electric guitars. In addition the MagSlide´s inside is slightly conical. It comes in a box with magnetic fastener and a cloth bag for easy transport.
